That’s up to you. Everyone experiences fasting differently. Some programs suggest for you to work throughout the entire 5-day fasting period, so it’s doable. Working can be good to distract you from food and keep you out of the kitchen! In Change Fast we encourage you to carve out time and space to rest, and enable deeper rejuvenation. Particularly during days 3 and 4 when your metabolism is shifting which can make your energy levels fluctuate. It’s also supportive for your body and mind to have some space for reflection and relaxation during this time. This is why we start the fast on Thursdays, so you have the weekend to more deeply relax.
